Toronto - The Wolfe Tone Irish Pub
"A lively, loud, traditional Irish pub located in the heart of the Beaches."
For my birthday this year, I wanted pub grub - wings, curry, fries, a burger, beer for him, a glass of red wine for me.
My sister has been raving about her local Pub for weeks and as the only family member who had not been I asked if we could go for our Tuesday night dinner.
What We Ordered: An important disclaimer as you read through the below: the portions are huge and we over ordered for three people. In comparison to the core the prices were so good we felt Food Riche. That said, I wouldn’t stray from the cobb salad, wings and beer - we’re not bragging about the whole menu, we just happened to have ordered it.
Cheese Curry Chips House fries with McDonnells curry sauce topped with cheese $17 | Steak Taco Three grilled skirt steak tacos with lettuce, pico de gallo, cheddar & chipotle aioli $16 | The Wolfe Burger 188oz beef patty, topped with lettuce, tomato, bacon and onion beer jam, house aioli on a brioche bun $18 | Wolfe Wings Tossed in your choice of sauce (Guinness BBQ, Mild, Medium, Hot, Cajun, Honey Garlic, Pineapple Sriracha, Sweet Chili, Suicide 2lbs for $26! | Cobb Salad Romaine, topped with bacon bits, cherry tomatoes, egg wedges, blue cheese, sliced avocado, red onions and grilled chicken $16 | Chicken Curry Served with rice $19.95
Recommend For: Fun with friends. We made a reservation for our Tuesday night dinner and we were glad we did. There were people with canes, briefcases, and yellow vests - a true sign of a good spot. Looking forward to going back for their live music on a Saturday, if we can get in.
